What is veterinary physiotherapy?

Veterinary physiotherapy utilises a science-based approach to provide holistic functional assessments to patients following veterinary referral. Physiotherapy aims to decrease pain, enhance mobility, and restore normal muscle function and control, and is commonly utilised for the short term and long term management of a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Physiotherapy can also enhance performance and help reduce the risk of injury in competition and working animals.

Veterinary Consent

In order to undergo veterinary physiotherapy, veterinary consent is required prior to treatment, in line with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966. You can either download the form below and get your vet to sign it, or you can contact us and we will contact your vet on your behalf.
